Internships & Volunteer Opportunities

The National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) understands the significant contributions that interns and volunteers make to the success of our work.

The NMMA offers volunteer and internship opportunities for college and graduate students interested in careers in art museums. Based upon their academic training and interests, as well as the availability of projects, volunteers and interns work in one of the NMMA's departments—visual arts, permanent collections, education, Yollocalli Arts Reach, or administration. Most projects require a strong knowledge of and appreciation for Mexican and/or Mexican American art history.  Many assignments require bilingual candidates (English/Spanish).  Applicants of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
