Children & Family Programs

The National Museum of Mexian Art offers children (ages 4-12) and families the opportunity to learn about art and culture through our weekend, after-school and summer classes.  Class themes are tied to our permanent and temporary exhibitions and integrate the galleries into the learning experience.  Fees vary by class and include art materials.

Reservations are required for all children programs.  Registration for 2016 summer camp begins on February 29.  To register your child for any of the classes or for more information on class offerings, please call 312-433-3908.

Park Voyagers Program
The National Museum of Mexican Art is a proud participant in the Park Voyagers program. Park Voyagers is a free, innovative program presented by the Museums In the Park and the Chicago Park District that connects Chicago youth with experiential, educational enrichment from Chicago-area Museums in informal settings. Museum educators travel to Chicago Park District field houses to provide young people with hands-on activities and projects. To find out if we will be visiting a park near you, visit the Park Voyagers website:
